Switch SD2Vita is a simple homebrew which simplify the setup to install and manage SD2VITA drivers for both ux0:/ and uma0:/ mounting points.
The homebrew need an unsafe access to edit the ur0:/tai/config.txt file if you choose to have your SDVita like an ux0: memory. If you are scary, you can check the code and build the homebrew

If you have a problem or a suggestion, don't hesitate to post a comment :)

Version 1.2 (available soon)
  • Detect old installation (1.0 version with uma0 config)
  • Small change in menu
  • Official changelog support
  • Fix, always fix :)
Version 1.1
  • Now using ur0 config exclusively
  • Added auto-switch feature
  • Fixed some stuff
Version 1.0
  • Initial Release

I use the version 1.0, Can I update ?
Yes, you can. Since SwitchSD2Vita 1.2, the homebrew detect if you have an old installation (only for uma0 installation). You just need to edit manually the file ux0:/tai/config.txt and remove the line :

Code: Select allur0:/config/gamesd_uma0.skprx

Where can I download it?
You can download here and install like an PSVita homebrew. But the application is also available on VitaDB and so you can install it thanks to Vita Homebrew Browser.

The homebrew includes both plugins (gamesd for ux0 and uma0)?
Yes. Just install this homebrew to manage your plugin installation.

How to disable the SD2Vita plugin
Just use uninstall option to disable the plugin.

Can I use without SD2Vita card?
No. Why? Because... Ok :)

  • Developped by Appelo and by yosh778, who added great features and fix :)
  • Tuxbot123 for the idea and the bubble customization
  • Team Molecule for HENkaku and taiHEN
  • xyzz for PS Vita gamecard to microSD adapter
  • All people contributed to VitaSDK
  • xerpi for the library vita2D
  • The_FloW for file function
  • Rinnegatamente because I steal a part of your work ;)

I tried this homebrew and it just doesn't work. It always crashes if ux0/tai/config doesn't exist. If ux0/tai/config does exist this app writes to ur0 and it's ignored because ux0 is read first. I mean did you even test it lol?

The source code of this app was also included and available for download.
Anybody who is familiar with the very basic fundamentals of programming will know what source code is and how to analyze it for any potential dangers/risks before making such uneducated; inaccurate claims.

This app can't crash your vita, the only thing it does is install a plugin.

It only mounts uma0 when ux0:tai/config is present, when mounting to ux0 it writes the ur0:tai/config/ file. When rebooting it reads ux0 not ur0 meaning uma0 is still the default plugin unless you delete the ux0/tai/config file.
