[HELP] Can I copy games from PS3 to PSP without PSP update?

Post by UnobtaniumGamer » Tue Jul 25, 2017 4:25 pm

I want to copy some games from my PS3 to my PSP as the PSP can't access PSN (the PSN area just isn't there on the PSP XMB) but the PS3 asks me to update the PSP. I don't want to update to 6.61 as the guide on the main site says to go for 6.60 (If 6.61 is okay, tell me!) so is there a way to copy games without updating?

I would install CFW and copy the games manually over USB like the poster above suggested. It's really easy, and you can also explore the wonderful world of PSP homebrew.
Does it quit? If not, then it's legit... Too legit.

Nvidia Shield Portable 48gb
Dreamcast: SEGA Sports - 80gb IDE HDD
4k PS3 Super Slim OFW 4.82
1k PSP: 6.60 ME-2.3
1K PSVita: Ensō 32GB - 64GB SD2VITA - 64GB PSVSD
