[CLOSED] Converting PSX game to EBOOT without compression.

Post by eribellis » Fri Apr 21, 2017 9:30 pm

I want to convert Chrono Cross for Adrenaline without any compression.
Whenever I set compression ratio in PSX2PSP 1.4.2 to zero I get error when trying to launch game. Setting compression ratio to 1 solves the problem but I would like to have no compression because game lags probably because of it.
Anyone knows how make a 1400 MB eboot from two discs?

What version of Adrenaline? I've heard that V4 has some issues with input lag (That and it is incompatible with V3 back savestates)

I use Adrenaline v4. It seems like non-compressed (compression ratio 0) eboots doesnt work for some reason. If you could test one on PSP or Vita I would kindly appreciate it :)

Well I can have a look on V3.1 and see what happens. Hold fire while I have a look-see

---------------------------------UPDATE---------------------------------------

Looks like 0 compression doesn't work on adrenaline.
If you're experiencing lag, try a different version of Adrenaline (The Easy Installer is an easy way to downgrade)

Hi
i don't think the problem is the compression 1...
Try the game without any filter and 4:3, with sony original setting, adrenaline v4 of course

Are you using psvita or ps tv?

Changing filter to Bilinear helped to decrease lags. Game is still lagging a bit but not more than on original PSX.
Thank You.
