[Hacking+Proof] Trophy hacking possible

Hi here's BeatPlay again,

This time I was able to trick the trophy system of the Vita, it was very easy due to it being based on a trusted-client system. At this point I am able to do following things:

-Making my own trophies
-Changing thumbnails
-editing allready existing trophies
-converting bronce to platinum
-changing trophy/game/dlc description
[Update]: Also able to de-hide trophies

I will release an editor in the next weeks!

They can be sinced, but the Vitas that read the trophy data without the mods will just see "Unknown Trophy" (if the trophy ID doesnt match any PSN Trophies)

I would have to break the encryption(which is by far stronger than PS3) , but i could also back up the save to Temp, then start the game with cheats, then save and close (at this step you get the trophies), then put the old save back in.

But i would need more progress in cheat creation to do that, so i will surely include it in a later version, but at the moment its just not possible.

Any update on this? Just made an account here to ask this. Have OCD and don't like having incomplete trophies, can't progress to other games without it.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's stronger Sony was just stupid and the only company in the world to not properly implement ECDSA which has never been broken when used properly. Math killed the PS3 security by using two constants instead of one variable.


And cheating shouldn't ease your OCD it should make you want to actually achieve the trophy. Cheating is why I hate trophies and online. E-penis is a serious problem that needs to be dealt with. Consult a doctor not a hacker lol

I take it as you've managed to generate a valid signature?, or is that a dummy account and that you've sync'ed the hacked trophies to and from the server using the previously disclosed trophy trick?

Or are you using a plugin? to bypass the signature checks?
