I'm not sure if there's a .velf loader out there that gets around this problem, but I thought I'd make this thread just to get the word out there.
.velf files don't seem to be supported
.velf files don't seem to be supported
So my HENkaku installation went without a hitch, and now I'm free to run Vita homebrew to my heart's content. Right off the bat I attempted to run mGBA, which is currently released as a .velf file, but was greeted with "Error 0x00000003". All of the homebrews I have are stored in "ux0:homebrew", which seems like a pretty innocuous location to store them. I installed Genesis Plus GX Vita just fine from that folder, so I guess .velf files simply aren't supported by molecularShell at this point in time. I find it odd that the HENkaku showcase promotes mGBA without supporting it.

Re: .velf files don't seem to be supported
The developer of mGBA must build his code with the latest toolchain now for HENkaku compatibility.
The Henkaku homebrew installer only suports .vpk files.

There is a VPK file for it posted here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/vitahacks/comm ... /mgba_vpk/
Testing it out right now...
EDIT: Some performance issues with Drill Dozer, other than that it's working fine.

Wherever really, personally I made a "homebrew" folder in ux0 to dump all my test things in till I figure things out, you can browse folders from mGBA and find your roms.
edit:
That version is not very stable though, fps is all over the place and sound is glitchy. If you want to try things out go ahead but if you're looking for proper emulation I'd suggest waiting for a new version.

Yeah im probably going to keep my Gba files in my Rom folder but delete the gba emulator since it crashed when trying to open the rom folder which for me is ux0>ROMS>GBA so ill probably just wait it out ^~^Pumpkinwaffle wrote:Wherever really, personally I made a "homebrew" folder in ux0 to dump all my test things in till I figure things out, you can browse folders from mGBA and find your roms.

Try the snes emulator, it's working perfectly and smooth.

I just made some scripts to package a velf into a vpk, and directly generate a vpk from the source code.
