can i test your distro?D-ecks wrote:After a long pause I back to work on the "ready-to-play distro" and now it's almost ready to release.
But it needs some testing and tuning.
Some details:And it works ONLY on 1.76 FW
- Completely configuration-free, you only need burn it as usual live usb image
- Works on PC (boot as live usb) and PS4
- LXDE desktop (windows-user-friendly)
- Installed steam
- Installed some emulators
- Requires USB 2.0 8gb+ flash drive
Is anybody want test it?
Post your request here and I'll send you torrent and instructions (how to burn it on usb-stick).
Video will be uploaded tomorrow and public release will be in next few days (after some testing).

Re: [Tutorial] Installing Steam on PS4 Linux
After opening up steam and updating it,it doesn't open the login window where i have to put my login and password.after clicking it again,it doesn't open other than that everything is good. And how can i use a controller with this build of linux? And how much space can this linux hold?Theres some unallocated space left on my pendrive after putting linux which i wanna use with this build.
Re: [Tutorial] Installing Steam on PS4 Linux
I think not enough free space to start steam.ipspx wrote:After opening up steam and updating it,it doesn't open the login window where i have to put my login and password.after clicking it again,it doesn't open other than that everything is good. And how can i use a controller with this build of linux? You can extend free space if your pendrive is over 8GB. Open terminal (lxterminal), type sudo gparted, select your pendrive, in should be /dev/sdc. Then select second partition - sdc2 and resize it to unallocated space.
Re: [Tutorial] Installing Steam on PS4 Linux
Can you elaborate on this,I'm not good at memorizing commands so I don't know which commands to use to resize my partition..
Re: [Tutorial] Installing Steam on PS4 Linux
Gparted is graphical tool. It's simple and easy to useipspx wrote:Can you elaborate on this,I'm not good at memorizing commands so I don't know which commands to use to resize my partition..

if you got some problems with it, tell me and I'll make some screenshots os the process.
