There are videos released about this, you just have to find them. They've been posted several times before.

Pretty sure it was even on the front page at one point.

Just got my PSTV this weekend... that $49 sale is making it a sweet pickup... We need some news on this pronto!!! Mr.Gas! Major Tom! Any news???

Though I did hear the method used was related to the custom themes.. perhaps when that is released we will receive this too? Then the PSTV will be awesome :)

Also wondering - is it possible to port the PS3 Remote Play application to the PSTV? Considering how well everything else works (ad-hoc, online etc.) I think it would function well. I guess either the PKG would need to be installed (which I don't think is available anywhere) or the files have to be dumped from a Vita then installed to the TV... hope we can hear about this soon!

Have some patience, releasing stuff too soon can mean it gets patched really fast so finding a permanent method would be the best option imo, but i can't say for sure whats going on with the release but im sure there's a good reason for it not been released yet. :P

Just a heads up for everyone still keeping and eye on this thread, Major_Tom and Mr.gas will be releasing their method soon as part of the big hack drop coming soon! Can't wait to see a write up.

In another question, is it possible to bypass the internet time setting?? The PSTV often loses the time when not plugged in, and if you want to play your downloaded PS plus games, you need to set the time via internet which requires logging into psn. Right now its not a big deal but in a few weeks it will be. Is there a bypass for this?

He may be referring to the internal clock that Sony uses that can't be set by the user. The PSTV requires an internet connection (to this clock?) before it will accept being connected to a PC on the network. This means it's impossible to use QCMA (when completely offline) to backup/restore your games (even when QCMA's 'Offline Mode' is check).

I would be thrilled if you can find a way to bypass this too..
