You cant get the non-Unity version of the PSM assistant anymore.
Beforehand you could simply download it through your download list on the PSN store.

Why not simply get the Unity version?

Grab the Unity version either way. With the normal assistant, you have to connect to USB every time. With the Unity version, you can do it over wifi. Of course, the Unity version still needs people to properly port it, but it'll happen.

Use two Vita's using same account, one is updated(3.52) and one is not(3.51) then install psm dev assistant on vita 3.52
(follow this steps: http://wololo.net/2015/07/19/how-to-ins ... and-above/)
after installing on 3.52 copy the file to your PC using QCMA then update it.. (not working on 3.52, but in 3.51 it will work i just tried it., )
then connect you vita 3.51 then copy the PSM dev assistant (note: make sure the two vita's is on the same account for you to copy the file)

Re: how to get PSM assistant onto a vita version 3.51?
There are ways to get PSMA onto your Vita even if you don't have a PSM license (all firmware except 3.52). Only useful if you plan on developing homebrew today. If you are not a developer, sitting on the Unity version is fine. There are no killer homebrews yet so PSM-Unity users aren't missing out on anything.
