Are you using the "PS3 Wave"?

Sometimes a Custom Theme is "too big".

Check if the same bug happens on TN-E, PRO & OFW (regular theme).

It crashes on PRO too but not on OFW since there is no way to use CTF theme on OFW and yes it was PS3 waves. No big deal plain colour is fine too, I prefer to listen music with slideshow. ;)

edit: its crashing even without wallpaper, seems like just by chance worked last day actually from time to time working even with wallpaper too. But no more try, bye bye PS3 wave theme.

btw for those who want to use that shrinked theme if you turn off of snow effect its no more crashing.

I think the modules must be patched are : libssl.prx and libhttp.prx

For experimental user who want to test (tested by me on a hackable 02g PSP with 6.60 FW):
1. Dump 6.61 OFW (with psardumper)
2. Connect your Flash0 with USB
3. Backup libssl.prx and libhttp.prx (in kd folder)
4. Copy libssl.prx and libhttp.prx from 6.61 dump to your Flash0:/kd
5. Try Connect to PSN

Note:
1. Do not test this on unhackable PSP
2. I'm not responsible for any problem, do it at your own risk!

Going by the list of modules updated for the latest FW, I'd actually have to agree with you. I was thinking of the method which allowed PSN access before 661 came along. Oops.

For some reason I can't use this, or any version of PRO not for 6.35. I originally got Early PRO for 6.35 when it was new, and updated it to now (PRO-C fix 3) but for some reason whenever I either upgrade, or downgrade (6.61 and 6.20) it will neither install nor run PRO or LME. I thought it was a motherboard problem, but my motherboard is only 03g so it should work. Any help would be appreciated, and I've attached a pspident screenshot just in case as well. I've since returned to 6.35 PRO-C because it's evidently the only one working.

Do NOT try this on a PSP 2000 88v3, 3000, PSPgo or E1000 (regardless of permanent patch CFW or only temporary CFW).

Modifying files inside the /kd/ folder WILL brick your device! ONLY a cIPL CFW (like M33 or ME CFW, those for old hackable PSPs) can successfully load changed Flash0 modules (prx)!
