Yes! the inferno driver has been updated and optimized a few times since the initial build that I think is used on LME.

See the truth is I like LME the most but I feel over all the inferno driver in PRO shows better performance.

for me right now

LME advantages run game iso as umd properly, customization vsh without using any plug ins.

Current pro advantages i like the way options in recovery are worded better, inferno runs nicer.

To make LME perfect I would want to see proper recover option for PSP GO hiber deletion like in PRO and latest inferno.

To make latest PRO perfect I would want to see the same VSH as LME and the option to run game ISO as umd without using the video folder.

Now this being said I appreciate both firmwares and am grateful that I have been lucky enough to have them as they are. I understand people use a lot of their free time to contribute this and am extremely grateful.

I dont want to come across as demanding here Im just saying what my wish list would be. lol

Which features?
updated inferno driver?
What else, while we are at it?

Splitting the PSPgo-only feature is redudant, since the network update feature can be enabled or disabled, it doesnt matter.

If it bugs you that much, change the text from "Network update" to "Hibernation deletion protection" in the translation files on your PSPgo's.

The PSP GO feature is not a big deal I agree. I was just saying what things I could think of.

Both are really not "required" but would make LME better.

That being said I consider both CFW to be amazing already if no updates happen :)

Hello guys,

I have been not following the scene for a while. Although I have spent quite a bit of time reading some threads, I still have some doubts. Would you mind helping me?

I currently have the 6.60 ME 2.1 version on my fully hackable PSP-2000.
-Should I update to 6.61 ME 2.3 or is it wiser to stay at 6.60 ME 2.3? Any compelling reasons to update (or not to update) to 6.61?
-If I want to try out the latest PRO release while maintaining my full CFW ME installed, how should I proceed? I have read something about a DarkSpeed app... is that it?
-How can I reset the CFW ME settings to their default values?

Thanks a lot!

For next version of LME I think default values should be changed (if there is a next version as this version already gives a very good experience as is)

Things like high mem layout and network update should be disabled by default rather than enabled. This is clearly just a thought and nothing serious and others may disagree.

Im always saying something about this firmware because Im always looking at it :)

Since LME 1.6 I been jumping between LME and PRO and always wanting LME to have everything. I like PRO alot but something about LME keeps me liking it more.

Both being amazing but LME attracting me more.

Update to 6.60 ME-2.3 and just forget 6.61. 6.61 has only downsides (less plugin support).
Just install PRO CFW and then launch it via Pro Recovery. A reboot will disable it.
Reset the settings in system-settings -> system-info and it will reset the ME settings too.

@007:

Network update should be enabled by default, to prevent accidental OFW updates.

@ The_Z very good point.

Is it possible that one day they would separate that feature and hiber deletion as a separate option on 05g?

Again this is just a thought. if LME saw no more updates I would still love it.

Unnecessary, only creates more cluttering and might even break some features (on non-GOs).

If you dislike that it is called "network update" on the Go, then change the translation files and rename it into "prevent hibernation deletion".

@The_Z

it doesnt bother me was just a suggestion.

If there is risk of breaking other functions I retract my suggestion.

I guess currently there is not much to update on LME at all.

Before I thought updating inferno was a good idea having seen latest pro run a tad faster however I have now bumped into a game that freezez randomly using that build of pro but does not freeze on LME. A friend actually discovered this. That being said I think that LME inferno should be left alone.

So there is really nothing at all to update lol
