Re: [Update] PSP Motherboard List
What is the real actual lowest possible firmware on a TA-082? All I can remember is that when I got it it had a 2.XX firmware, maybe 2.60 or 2.7X (Can't remember, so many years ago). I know the firmware guide says 1.00 but that's using downgraders, messing with IDStorage, etc, etc.
inb4 The Z will most likely reply in this case.

Re: [Update] PSP Motherboard List
You mean "earliest pre-installed firmware"? That would be the most recent firmware as of the internal motherboard date. Technically, the 1.00 (well, or 1.50) can be installed, but you have to fix a few bugs due to older downgraders. A proper downgrader could downgrade even a TA-086 mobo 1000 to 1.00, without these problems.Casavult wrote:What is the real actual lowest possible firmware on a TA-082? Re: [Update] PSP Motherboard List
Well, I don't know if we can take urbandictionary seriously, but someone back in 2006 posted this, this was probably before DA's downgrade method, so its probably true -http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ta-082
It says 2.5 is the lowest fw for that mobo without messing with idstorage and all that. Once again this info may be total bs.
Is this what you meant when you asked 'real actual lowest possible firmware'?

Re: [Update] PSP Motherboard List
I am trying to build a psp1000 ta-086 MB into a new generic replacement shell but when umd is closed it doesn't connect with MB onboard umd button.
Also, does anyone know what version of psp1000 sound card is compatible with ta-086? Thank you!
