If we could resign the modules after modding so they will load on OFW then yes but we can't do that past 6.20.

no offense to Davee if Im wrong but he first said this in 2012. you could find postings. So I think he does have something but is having trouble making it work.

Yea but no one seems to give a dang till it was brought up by Z and my self.
IDK the finer details about what it is he is doing but afaik it is the only shot at perma-6.60/6.61 for all PSP's.

I gave a dang since he announced in 2012. I just recently got excited cause I thought someone in news was hinting Davee was going to release for Christmas 2014 and now recently Davee mentioned it again on Twitter, But seeing as its been so long in progress there must be something difficult about it preventing the release. Hopefully he overcomes it.

OK let me rephrase it, Yes its possible to edit the path in the module to look for the launcher in flash but unless we can encrypt and sign the prx after modding it will not run on OFW and would probably result in a semi-brick.

BTW even if we could resign it then this would be pointless as we could just make a perma-patch.

This is exactly what I said few posts earlier:

Not possible, since the XMB reads the path from ms0:/

If I could change the path, then we could create a perma patch. No way of editing the path without being able to do a perma or cIPL in the same case.

Davee used to have very little time for PSP coding in 2011/12, thats why the 6.20_09g is so dang glitchy, and thats why he didnt bother making something for later firmwares.

Ive talked to davee, and he sounded very promising and confident in his work on doing a 6.6x perma patch. Just wait for it.
