Post by ryuzen »

Hi there, i was too busy to do tutorials, actually i have a better tutorial than this, but i don't have time to do it,
I actually vided the process but somehow my video editor program are messed up everything so I end up not doing the video tutorial like always...
so i am going to make simple tutorial how to install VitaFTP and how to use it to install homebrews and games.

What do you need :

1. QCMA / OpenCMA
DL : viewtopic.php?t=34677

2. INSTALL.ZIP (Contains VitaFTP,PSPFiler,VitaAdhoc)
DL : http://www.solidfiles.com/d/ac4f5c448f/INSTALL.ZIP

How to install VitaFTP

Image

1. Prepare your exploit savegame, im using talkman travel for this tutorial
2. Copy INSTALL.ZIP to exploit savegame folder (NPUG801550000)
3. Copy your exploit savegame to your cma content folder/PSAVEDATA/(random name)/ (Check on QCMA setting to see where is your cma content folder
4. Right Click on QCMA tray and click refresh database
5. Now go to vita and open the CMA Applciation, then choose copy from PC to Vita
6. Copy the savegame (talkman travel) overwrite your save if prompted
7. Now launch your exploit.
8. You will see on game there only 1 app installed (vita adhoc), press 'triangle' then install
9. Press 'select' then choose restart VSH
10. Now check it out again, now you'll have vitaftp, pspfiler, and vitaadhoc installed

How to connect to FTP without software

Image

1. Now, prepare your router / connectify and make Wifi
2. Press home button, go to setting and Connect your vita to that Wifi
3. Switch back to talkman travel and open the VitaFTP
4. Now it will show you your FTP adress, for example lets say its 192.168.101.1
5. Write that address on your computer like this : ftp://192.168.101.1
6. Now you can see your vita psp system folders from here, now its up to you what to do

How to connect to FTP Using Software (WInSCP)

Thanks for the guide. From my experience, I think this method is the quickest way to install homebrews, iso, cso, etc. to the vita without having to go through open CMA.

I suggest you to use software instead directly from PC, i recommend you using WinSCP

WinSCP : http://winscp.net/eng/download.php

Then do this :

Whenever I try to copy anything from my vita it tells me I need to update before continuing, am i doing something wrong?
I also tried this: http://www.guidingtech.com/33939/transf ... d-ps-vita/ but It keeps trying to update.

The install zip in this thread is a virus. it will give you the file, but the zip has an executable file that will install a **** ton of bloat ware on your pc.
