Can you add a vita download to PS3 to move?

My question is if I have a game on PSN, in this case MGS HD Collection, that is a vita game, can I download it to PS3 in order to move it? I am on 3.18 and cannot download it otherwise as of now.

I am in the same boat too, even choosing to add the game to the download queue in the PS Store, it no longer auto downloads to my Vita.

Yes. Just download to the PS3 then use the OpenCMA trick to transfer to the Vita. Connect to openCMA, disconnect USB from computer, leave the error bubble up on the vita, plug into the PS3, once it's plugged in close the error window and click connect to PS3 via USB and presto, no update window.
