Thanks dude. I managed to borrow my friends PS3 on the latest firmware and linked / activated my VITA with my PSN account. I also managed to transfer 'Numblast' and successfully loaded the eCFW 6.60 (TN-v8)on it. However, I did it all on 1.81 firmware. I now realized what you said about the retail games on higher firmware. I do have some retail games which I bought with the Vita (lego bundle + killzone mercenary) that I'd like to play on my vita. now to my questions:SILENT_Pavel wrote:1.81, 2.6x/3.xx supports 32 mb psp ramespionage wrote:3) should i stay on 1.81 or i should update to at least 3.01?
2.12 supports 64 mb psp ram
2.12 also have more advanced web browser and several good updates
but n64 emulator works better on 1.81 and 2.6x, on 2.12 glitchy
save state plugin may work faster on 64 mb exploit
also you can buy retail games on higher firmware then on 1.81
if you can get explotable game for your vita (for example urbanix game) with ps3 or something
1) How can I manually upgrade to 3.01?
2) Is it possible to upgrade to just 3.01 and keep my exploit?
3) If I loose the exploit after upgrading would I be able to re-exploit my VITA? Can I transfer the game again from my friend's PS3 to my VITA?
