Can I play music at the background?

Post by uri1996 »

I know that I have already asked that, but the answer I received was not the answer for my question and I do not want to bump the old topic.

so, can I play music on the PSV, while playing a PSP game with the eCFW?

No, you can't use the Vita's mp3 player to play music.

However, you can use the mp3player plugin to play music while playing games/ect in CEF.

VHBL doesn't let you use plugins. You need either CEF or ARK to do it. I will assume you have one of these.

SO

Create a folder in your / called "seplugins". In other words, create "seplugins" in the same folder as the folder PSP. Copy your plugins to the seplugins folder.

ARK
Place a txt called "PLUGINS.TXT" in your exploit save folder. Edit it to say this "umdemu,ms0:/seplugins/music.prx,on". You can edit the "umdemu" section to pops for psx games

CEF
Place GAME.TXT, POPS.TXT in your exploit save folder. Edit it to say "ms0:/seplugins/music.prx 1" (1 is on, 0 is off).

I couldn't get music prx working on ARK, only on TN. If anyone has a version for ARK, a link would be appreciated ... :D
