System Update 2.05 out?

It patches the exploit but I was expecting something bigger, a gimmick like PS+ for Urbanix, maybe they didn't patch the kexploit yet? I was expecting that the update would include the rumored PS2 emulator giving everyone a reason to leave their exploit for something else. But apparently nothing like that.

eh I wouldnt expect that until a 3.0 release, if it were to be true. They usually save the big updates for then like with PS+ on 2.0. Plus they would be advertising that to hell if it were the case.

I understand that, but it is so hard to wait and rumors are hard to ignore! ;) but they should atleast TRY to convince us to update because they already know that some people just wont update ;)

If they don't release an update, I can easily stay for another two months unless they have some nice PS+ games. Having eCFW to me (and I don't really use it) just gives me the satisfaction that I have the ability to program for the device.

I have contacted The Z about if the kexploit has been patched or the u-exploit blocked. He will let us know when the update goes global :D

True there isn't much of a reason for me to update either unless they do something big like that, and the fact that the next release might be VHBL makes me want to stay since I cant buy some games like KH BBS. The only thing that might tempt me is Dead or Alive online and the Urban Freestyle game to update.

It's now fixed and says 2.02 on "Sony" website.

So maybe no update?

That's interesting. My best guess is that the update is still coming, they just pulled the trigger too early on updating the page and reverted back for the mean time.

I say give it a couple days. The image at the bottom of the page still says 2.05 so it'll likely be here before the end of the week if I had to guess. Since I snagged Foosball with my Plus membership, I have no further reason to update though.

Funny thing is it says 2.02 Now i guess it had bugs or they knew people that had UNO would not update unless it was for PS2 emulation =D

Hey guys! Someone asked this (somewhere; can't remember where, exactly) :

"I’m new at this and this is probably a stupid question, but if i stay on the lower firmware with the uno exploit, would it block me from transfering vita purchases made on ps3 to vita?"

I'd like to know this, as well! (That's an exact quote, so don't blame any possible grammatical errors on me ;) hahaha!)

Thanks!!
