What's the average time between exploits?

What's the average time between exploits?

Postby JBB2412 » Sun Jan 13, 2013 11:08 pm

I only just discovered exploits few days ago after UNO was taken down from PSN :( so was wondering how long was the wait between UNO and the previous exploits like Urbanix and MH so I can have a rough estimate of when the next ones going to be out so I'm not here refreshing my page every five minutes :p

There isn't a set time unfortunetly... But if you are new to the scene watch carefully because a forum member called zaiii (spelling?) has discovered a possible exploit. It's unclear at this stage whether it is a user-mode or kernal exploit but wololo staff are in contact with him. Watch the homepage for developments on this.
PS Vita 3G 2.02 UNO Exploit TN-C | PSP-2000 3.80 M-335 | PS3 Slim 4.30 Rogero | PS2 Slim Free McBoot v1.8b
how to not miss the next exploited game thread by me :)

There should be one very soon, but its only the real ones of the site to let know any kind of release.
So just play the waiting game till that.

I think a lot of people got spoiled by the insane amount of exploits that 1.80 and 1.81 had.

The window of opportunity is closing as far as user-mode exploits. I doubt very seriously that there will ever be another time where three new exploits get dropped within the space of 60 days.

Think about the regular PSP exploits that came out back in the day. GTA - LCS, Patapon, Grip Shift, etc. There were still fewer exploits for the PSP released in an average year than there were in just one season for the Vita.

It isn't realistic to expect multiple exploits for the same firmware. The scene might have been a bit generous in the past few months, but with Coldbird leaving the scene over leaks, and the fact that SOME asshat tries to ruin every ninja release that I have seen so far, I think we're lucky to even have the UNO exploit.
