Nothing's wrong with charger or battery it's the PSP, it's been washed in my jeans twice now.
The gold thingy at the back has been washed a little it's still there though and you can see that dried substance around it.
Anyway can it be fixed or replace I wanna find a exploit 8-)

The pic is huge beware!

EDIT: Can someone answer this quickly I need battery level to be high for me to update to 6.60 and proceed to Pro CFW

Now how would a PSP 2000 stay stuck in a pocket?! :|
BTW either you send it to Sony or you buy an external PSP battery charger. Yeah the second one is a better idea, you remove the battery, charge it, then reinsert it into your PSP. 8-)
Oh & you also "dubble-posted" bro. ;)

The PSP doesn't detect the battery I think, so would the external battery work? Also how would I proceed to calling Sony, a detailed procedure please. :D

Isn't a sticker missing by the way I remember peeling one, should I still send to Sony???

Yes external battery are working. If you are sure that you cann´t repair it yourself maybe send it to sony but i guess you have to 20€- or even more.
And yes you can use a plugin to fake a full battery to start an ofw update.

my external "psp" battery for usb or via standard charger plug.

You mean your PSP isn't turning on? You can also try connecting the charger to the PSP then remove the battery when the it's still charging, maybe that'll help. ;)
Now as toBsucht said you must pay what exceeds $30 if you send it to Sony, but you don't have to call them. You can go to a Sony/Sony World branch & ask them about it.

It turns on just when plugged into the outlet though I'll check out the plugin and that Sony thing, Thanks :D

EDIT: I put plugin on but don't have CFW and cannot update PSP, because battery's not charged so back to square 1 :P
