Question about Updating

well updating is fairly easy i deleted my memory card and updated to 2.02 and now i am waiting for the next Kexploit.
it will be my last update as i believe good thniks toward psp emulator on ps vita gonna happen soon

Well, you may feel like to download some PSV game before screw the system...Once you cracked PSP mode, you can't update any more.

Well you certainly picked a good time. With the upcoming release, you should be able to just update and, as long as you're prompt, you can just get the new exploit while still enjoying the 2.02 perks

If you don't play online I don't think there's a point to update to 2.02, I don't see any performance gain from 1.81 anyways! Also like I said myself before, I can't justify paying x amount of dollars every time a new exploit psp game is found if all I do is play offline

ANOTHER quIck question I hope someone knows about updating.
If i choose to stay at 2.02 and for example in 2 weeks time sony pushes a manditory update can i still play my digital downloads or will they be locked?. Sorry if this was asked already.

Illegal to lock your digital downloads... but you won't connect PSN anymore!
