Any difference between 03g and 04g?

Post by anc96 »

I'm gonna be buying a new PSP 3000...If I end up with one that has on 04g module, does that only affect my ability to downgrade?

Thanks,

the difference is that 4g came with 5.70++ which cant be downgradable atm, while 3g came with around 5.03 below and cant be downgradable

(downgradable-->from 6.20)

Sony always tries to get cheaper, or more secure parts for the psp (lol, cheap ****)
So, to reduce their costs they add that.

Hmm...so in the long run it shouldn't really matter if I end up with 03g or 04g?

It does matter, because 4g's original firmware is 5.70, so it cant be downgraded below that.
3gs are awesome, they can be downgraded to 5.00.
So, theres not such a big difference, ;) .
