THE KERNEL XPLOIT USED ON 1.81 SEEMS TO BE DEAD FOR EVER (FROM 2.00 AND BEYOND), but maybe there still a way to use it if you miss it:


* do not update to 2.00 or beyond, any chance to use the kxploit that tn use on 1.81 will be dead forever.


1.- stay or update to a 1.81 firmware. (HERE viewtopic.php?p=181080)
2.- buy the game "Mad Blocker Alpha: Revenge of the Fluzzle's" (MBA) on your PS3.
3.- asap put the game on your vita using the ps3 proxy trick. (you need a ps3 or other working proxy method)... here other method without proxy viewtopic.php?f=52&t=22836
4.- back up the game on pc with open cma. (HERE viewtopic.php?t=13999)
5.- install TN eCFW for MBA.

Strangely,I agree with this. I bought the PS Vita to use all of its features to the fullest. If i still want to play psp backup or homebrews, I would get me a PSP instead.

Would rather use the upgraded PSP functionality than anything Sony can put into the Vita.

I see nothing of interest in 2.0, for me. I have a phone and a tablet and I will never in a million years use a vita for web browsing for email, and I dont need a service for free games when, to be honest, it's hardly difficult to pick out the good games on vita as is. It's a very small list. I mean Uncharted and Gravity Rush... If you have a Vita and didn't have these then you were supremely doing it wrong.

The only thing that will get me off CFW is a very nice wave of exclusives, next year. There's a few I'm interested in, like Ys IV, Soul Sacrifice, Tearaway, etc, so I hope we have more options by then, especially considering this machine has one foot in the grave already.

when you know the name of the new vhbl game, grab it using the proxy trick.

it won't work for the previous games if they return because the proxy trick will be closed by then.

the proxy vicious circle is closed after a while the new firmware is released. at first it's a slight enforcement to upgrade, and then they implement an additional check to the PSN using the package which is inside your vita. nothing will work since then.

the only way would be downloading the new game through a PS3.
