FW 1.80 CMA Security

FW 1.80 CMA Security

Postby alnitak » Tue Aug 28, 2012 5:41 pm

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something, but i thought the new CMA wouldn't allow copying of vhbl files onto the vita.

I was able to copy over the Everybody's Tennis vhbl files without a hitch, granted I can't test to see if it functions, but I was able to copy it.

The most recent entry in the changes file is 2012/03/25 (yosh).

Yeah iam confused on the issue as well. I was able to copy the vhbl save data of super collaspe 3 with no problem. but I cant test it either. The game has been pulled from the store and the game installation just sits on my ps3 xmb menu.

I copied the sc3 vhbl fine to, but when i try to load it on sc3 it just says "load failed. The data is corrupted". So it seemed to copy right just wont work cause its patched.

I have managed to copy various homebrews to a couple of random games' save structures without problems, only had to use differerent names.
I have sent PM to wololo describing the details, hoping it will be useful.

I was also able to copy homebrew, and I didn't have to use different names.
I wonder if Neur0n is trolling us? :O

Really? .zip's were filtered out when I tried.. Have you
actually tried removing the file from the PC and copying back to PC?

Could we just have vhbl look for an install file with no extension?

install.zip won't transfer, but without the extension, it will.
