does anyone know of a good, thorough tutorial for remotejoy? I've been spending the better part of a week trying to get it to run but both my pc and my psp say waiting for data. either that or my psp just opens windows media player.

pretty much all you really need to do is install the psp type-b driver, but if you're on 64-bit vista/seven (not sure about 7), you gotta go through some startup process to enable unsigned drivers for it to work. the rest should be pretty simple. although since you're most likely on pro-c, you'll need that high memory version of it on the prometheus forums

for me older version are working with pro c i use http://www.mediafire.com/?lspiy5ofn660hy5 (edit: sorry archiv is defect you have to repair it or just dl the mod) with my 6.20fw i think you talk about the pro online mod

To get the driver install pspdisp. Most likely you have to switch to administrator to install it.
Maybe rj it´s blocked by your firewall^^
As long as you have enabled rj.prx you cann´t transfer files via usb

well like I've said I've been at it for a week. I'm running windows vista home premium 32bit, I can connect and transfer files, i can connect and fiddle with windows mediaplayer on my psp, i can connect and windows will recognise it as a slideshow device, but when i open the homebrew nothing happens.

I´m sure you didn´t enable the plugin /prx (in vsh &or game.txt as long as you use RJ.prx, usb filetransfer do not work!

Not to undermine toBsucht but I found the link below to work the best for after you get RJL working on xmb. As for initial setup, you NEED to be able to use a file manager to move files and you will usually need the specific RJL mod for PRO-C. That being said, I have found a few games that work with the older versions. After another re-read of you post syi, I can't help the feeling that you're trying to put the RJL exe files on your memory stick. They do not go there and if I'm misunderstanding please forgive me, just trying to think of everything possible to help you out.

no i didnt but the exe on there, just the dsip eboot and the plugins, the game.txt,vhs.txt,game150.xtx and pops.txt have been updated and it does not work, i even updated to SP1 and that didnt help

..as long as you use RJ.prx, usb filetransfer do not work! !! If you conect your psp to pc it shouldn´t display "usb-mode" as usually No matter if rmj is installed at your pc or not!
Hey check how to use plugins or tell me / us you know how to use them and a example would be nice... i suggest people try a screenshot plugin at first .

.... i doubt you need game150.txt for rmj^^ btw what fw do you use and what kind of pspu
