Need help on upgrading PSP 1000 from 5.00 M33-6

So I have google'd around for a bit and take a look around the tutorials to update to Pro CFW.

However I have a few problems I want to make sure of.
- Can I update straight from 5.00 M33-6, or I have to move back to OFW before I install 6.60 OFW?
- Is CwCheat compatible with 6.60 Pro-C? I read that a guy had his CwCheat rendered useless after updating to 6.60 Pro-C fix3.
- In case CwCheat is not compatible with Pro-C, is there any reason Pro-C is better than Pro-B10 on an PSP 1000?

Yes you can update to 6.60 OFW but you have to disable your plugins and after installing CFW on 6.60 check which one are compatible or not.

I don't know about CWCheat but you can use TempAR, I think you can use CWCheat codes with TempAR.

PRO-C can be used to play ad-hoc games online but not yet for PSP 1000.

also i tested CWcheat on 6.60 PRO-C Fix 3 & LME 1.8 and it works with dump iso's and psx games

The next version of PRO's Online Client (version 0.11) will have 1g (PSP 1000) support. (As stated by Coldbird on Prometheus Forums - http://forum.prometheus.uk.to/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=441 )

So that's something to look forward to.

Did you end up going with PRO-C or ME1.8? (Most people that I've seen with hackable PSP's go with ME1.8 since it's based off of the M33 CFW and PRO is more geared towards the newer PSP's that can't install full CFW [but it does have the cIPL flasher for fully hackable PSPs])

Thats pretty much a nice summary. And it would be interesting, if he has PRO or ME, because the CWcheat isnt (?) compatibel with PRO CFW, is it?

I've used CWCheat with PRO (L)CFW before, I don't see why it wouldn't work with the full CFW.

I'm still on 6.20 though so there might be something that conflicts with PRO/CWCheat on the higher firmwares. (My backup PSP 3001 3g is now on 6.60LME1.8 so I can switch over to 6.60PRO to test it, that will have to wait until tomorrow though, it's 6:30am here )
