IIIRC, the psimg that you can get from the CMA are encrypted. The CMA can be reversed, so decrypting those isn't the main problem.

what tells you CMA is encrypting / decrypting anything ?
I would say the ms itself contains encrypted files, it'd be kinda dumb to put any algorithm into CMA since we can RE it
This would mean even REing CMA wouldn't learn us anything about the encryption / decryption process, more likely imho

It is, but the crypto is done on the vita, not in the PC app.

Not too worth it, except for creating an open source CMA (that doesn't have the $ony backdoors). If you're willing to work on it, you can try finishing the Open Idea CMA. (tbh, if I had a Vita, I'd definitely be on it)

I thought they were still working on it
But I don't think I know enough to do a project that big anyways
