fellow programmers: I much prefer obj-c runtime method swizzling over direct binary patching, so this will be fully redistributable and without copyright violations. This is the same reason I'm legally allowed to keep my iOS jailbreak masker, xCon, closed-source: it's all hooks, so it doesn't contain any modified copyrighted code, just reimplementations of functions. =P
Here's some key stuff I'd like to know:
- Should I abstract the typical "drag-n-drop" homebrew installation into more of "sync" back and forth?
- Should I offer integrated homebrew updating support or just let you all handle managing updates to your hb by yourself?
- Should I package all the stuff up into an install.zip that you install yourself with wMenu, or should I automatically install it where it needs to go?
What kind of other stuff would you be interested in?
