the thread starter mentioned he is a fan of stealth games.. so the easy choice should be MGS HD Collection.. and for almost the same price as Gravity Rush, you get to play (2) PS2 classic games remastered in HD and another (2) old school Metal Gear games.. most boss fights on the MGS series are friggin' awesome specially the fight against "the end" and "the boss" on MGS 3.. I also like Gravity Rush.. I would have suggested it first if you had already played MGS 2 and MGS 3 on the PS2..

I don't see the MGS HD collection for Vita as worth it without Peace Walker. At all. Either way, it starts at MGS2 and despite how awkward the storyline gets, you should start with the first game. Go for THAT when PS1 support comes along. I've never heard of the other game, so you may as well get IT, if that's even still being discussed.

i would get both, both are great games on their own league. But I think MGS HD Collection will take most of my time because i have always loved the series.

because Peace Walker is on PSN, as well as Portable Ops

True. btw I'm getting the HD collection tomorrow (both ps3 and vita), I'll give a few first impression when I've tested them.

I'v never played before MGS, and got it last week.
I am verrry happy with it.
I do not have a PS3 so I think I did a good deal.

Also, maybe some day we will get DLC with the MGS1 HD.

This has been discussed before, MGS1 can't be ported to HD, TTS can but it's a Nintendo exclusive and doesn't have that many fans as the PS1 version (mostly because it's only for GameCube/Wii). But don't worry, when we get PS1 support for Vita MGS1 is one of those games Sony can't afford to ignore.

mgs twin snakes was an ok upgrade
it still holds its own against mgs2 as far as graffix and controls go
but the digital graphic novel covers it well if im remembering right

i think hideo wanted to be a manga and comic book artist from the style of it but i only made it past like 5 min and was board of reading on a small screen( remote joy might fix that though, never tried it though)

Psx support is close so no need to used the DGN, and I wouldn't be surprised if Guns of the Patriots gets ported to the Vita (Kojima already showed that it was possible), that would complete the entire saga for the Vita.
