Ok not to be a jerk or anything ( ruin alot of ppls hopes) but I don't think they will update the browser to html5 or anything that major. They just release the YouTube app to watch vids. Why would they now make it so you can watch it on the browser, but then again Sony is know to be backwards some times.

Ok,so in the request blog,Ideas blog like i call it.
Sony ask the users what we want,we can post
are ideas to them,the idea with the most votes
wins and one of the ideas is Html5 full support.
last time i check it had alot of votes so iam not
surprise if Sony deside to add the update to the
browser later on.or we either get that update or
and app with the ability to play any video from
the Net in the app.

interesting, i wonder what new additions will be into the browser. i believe its bug fixes and HTML support, but it doesnt matter, i bet chrome and/or firefox will be making a HTML 5 browser.
