Playing .MP4 On Newer Lua Player Plus Builds?

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone could lend some help for the newer Lua Player Plus Builds?

It seems that newer builds have been reworked and the old method of playing .MP4 files is not working anymore.
Sadly the newest builds do not provide any samples.

Could anyone post up a quick sample demonstrating .MP4 playback for the newest edition of LPP?

Should be something like:
LPP_Mp4Load(filename)
LPP_Mp4Close(MP4Load_handle)
LPP_Mp4Play(MP4Load_handle, number_of_frame_to_read)

Should be that.
I don't know exactly as I took a very quick look to the sources to get these functions.

Thanks for the reply mate. It seems I have tried every possible combination and always seem to get errors.

If anyone does manage to get .mp4 playing on the newer LPP builds, then PLEASE do post a sample script here.

Thanks for the help. But even with Lua experience, I am still having trouble with this.
I wonder if the mp4 engine may be broken in LPP right now?
I have used the provided functions and scripted it a million differnet ways, but it can never load the .mp4?

If anyone manages to get it working, please do post a functional/working sample here

I tried it on both the official and modded one, without any luck. All my videos brought up an "error cannot load blah blah blah" They both seem to be bugged. The "Color.new" is bugged, I tried "screen:clear(Color.new(255,255,255,255))" and the screen showed up red, when it was supposed to be white. I removed the alpha value and it was good. I tried just about everything, sorry I can't help you out here. :/

The problem is that LUA player fails to load sceUtilityLoadAvModule(0). I tried to fix it but without any sucsess

Ahh that explains it. Thanks for trying anyway mate.
Hopefully it eventually is able to be fixed, as being able to play video in lua apps/games would be awesome!
