Emumaster is a ripoff of Brunni's Masterboy!

Running old school games on your PSP? It's definitely possible

Well if Masterboy was GPLv3, copying it as is is not violating the license as long as the source was made available. If not, I would remove Emumaster from everywhere I find it.

Note that (AFAIK) by GPLv3 you need NOT to acknowledge the original authors.

They just changed the name and took credits

Pretty good to know though : indeed Brunni's MasterBoy is open source, and I managed to recompile a working version very easily ! So that way it can be easily debugged ^^
Unfortunately his website is currently down, but I found a copy of the src here http://www.emutopia.com/index2.php?opti ... e&id=11002

Hm, the source code I have is only for v2.02 though .. too bad, I couldn't find the 2.10's src, looks like brunni's works simply disappeared from the net lol

Masterboy 2.10 is from Genesis vids. Just replace the name and change '2.02' to '2.10' in the source. You will have 2.10 src

xDD you're actually right !
Masterboy 2.05 / 2.10 are just some fake updates, actually only the version number changed
That's awesome ! This means I already have the latest source code

Are you thinking of doing some debugging? I've always wanted the small bug with the mono mode palettes to be fixed. Whenever you set a preset palette for a mono GameBoy game and then save the settings, once you reload the game, its back to black and white. The colorization feature was nice, but way too much effort to fully ultilise. Just wish the presets wouldn't reset.

if you are indeed thinking of doing some debugging.... there is a bug that affects saving when the psp battery is low. i cannot tell you how many hours of pokemon or link's awakening ive lost to this bug.
