Ok thanks you guys, so it seems it not only me. I haven't been able to check from where the problem is coming from but could it really be that scemp3init has been changed that much? I mean, GWP works fine for me when called directly from VSH/XMB but had audio fail in VHBL. So i don't really think that scemp3init is the big problem. could it be that one of the other function is the cause for the fail of scemp3Init? maybe it arguments?

-Maybe doesn't the game import MP3 functions
-Maybe is the MP3 already initialised by the game, thus you can't initialize again. (not sure)

I don't think so but even if that wasn't the case, It still doesn't explain the error for the program in normal run from xmb mode.

OK, that does sound understandable but like i said before, why would it fail ALSO from the xmb? I still can get my head around it.
