gravity rush oddities

the demo finally came out for US psn
has been on the demo models since the vita launch

the game seems fun but has any one else notice that the demo on the demo(kiosk) vita's are in English dub but the demo on psn is in Japanese?

for those wondering about the game itself
its like the 0g jumping on the wall sections in dead space as the main mechanic, with very nice anime-ish cell-shading art style
looks like gods eater burst the way the facial expressions change instantly, instead of morphing to the new expression over a few frames
it has comic book style cut seens were you can tilt the vita and the angle of the frames change with a 3d look, while movie cut seens are normal

the enemies are like the blob-ish ones in parasite eve the 3rd birthday

The demo is the same, JAP voices, english subtitles with the english title. They really dropped the ball, who knows what the hell this publisher is thinking.

I thought the demo was fun enough to peak my interests... pro'ly gonna buy the game.

The real version of "Gravity Rush" has the same problem with the Japanese voices and English subtitles. Not really a problem for me. I enable subtitles a bit more these days on the boob tube. Anyway, I find that it takes some practice to get things done in a world where gravity can be altered. Not exactly sure what the goal of the game is though. I don't want to bias you about it any further either. Hopefully, we'll all become skilled at controlling Kat as she floats and falls her way through her world of controllable buoyancy.

I didn't hear any Japanese in the demo it sounded sort of French (on both the Japanese PSN demo and the UK PSN Demo), I believe from a review on the net that it is possibly a made up language but having a basic understanding of Japanese I didn't hear a word of it spoken and I did a year of French at school many years ago and recognised the odd thing that sounded like it!!

Wish they had stuck with Japanese or English, I would enjoy being able to understand what is being said (plus I am English so the less said about the French the better :) )!!

I just got my copy of Gravity Rush from Amazon.

I also noticed the language does sound a lot like french.
In the beginning, (episode 3?) when Kat is looking for a house she says chateau a lot - french for home/house.

Why?
According to Wikipedia the project was started in 2008 for ps3 under the name Gravité.
French project - french language.

I got the game and after hearing the language I looked up what language it was, and from what I read they just made up the language.

Yeah, it's a made up language. And by the way, chateau in french means castle. The french for home / house is maison ^^
