i am against full vita hack as well, but im 100% sure that an ISO loader will boost the sales of Vita and it wont hurt that much..

i think the reason why PSP is still ahead of Vita regarding sales is that any version of psp can load ISOs

I have to agree. These days, I only use my PSP to play PS1 games or homebrew; I grew bored with the PSP games lineup, and there's still MANY PS1 games I would like to play, or re-visit.

I personally don't feel bad for sony at all. Beyond the obvious reasons of a history of them being dicks to the hacking community (even when it is solely focused on homebrew), they currently suffer from the same problem that Nintendo is with the 3DS. There are no titles. They released a system and have let it sit for MONTHS with little to no keystone titles.

Think back to all of the gameboy launches (gb - GBA), each one had dozens of games early on. You could go into an EB, ToysRUs, or any of the gaming mags as a kid and look at the giant release list of awesome games that would be coming out in the next few months. Even the PSP had plenty of games within it's first 6 months.

I went in to buy my 3DS at launch, looked at the list of 10 games (most of which werent even coming out for 6 months) and said "Yea, that kid icarus should be cool 7 months from now... Guess Ill get a copy of PioletWings that ill trade off to Goozex within 24 hours..."

Uncharted was cool for Vita... Lumines was cool.. again.... Rayman was another copy of rayman for another system...

Yes, the companies may come out with decent hardware (3DS is neat and Vita is cool for the 3 or so native games that are worthwhile) but they are very expensive purchases when you consider they may only have 3 to 5 games that you care to play over the next 12 to 24 months.

I totally agree with you, i own both handheld and only purchased 2 3Ds games since its been out. The PS Vita i'm fully disapointed with it. The vita lacks games and every demo has disapointed me.

I think the biggest reason for the lack of games for both consoles is dev's fearing a massive exploit to be released for the system. They saw what happened with the DS and PSP so now they are scared. However, with that said, I'd still be willing to throw in $50-$100 CAD towards a root exploit.

Sony have to risk if they want to gain money. If they fit with fear from the future, then they have to forget Vita (we too). :D
