So i downloaded a game from PSN (syphon filter 3) and it is in .pkg format now some tutorial says that you need to extract it using PSP PS3 PKG Decrypter Extractor so after extracted the files is on a folder whic contains a subfolder named CONTENT and some pics and inside the content folder had a subfolder also... Then I search the net and found the US KEY.BIN for Syphone filter 3 (US) then back to the tutorial, it says that you should put the KEY.BIN to the game (syphon filter 3) then renamed the content folder to anything, (btw the content folder contain the eboot.pbp) but when I copy the content folder to my PSP's Game folder and start the game, It wont work... it just restarts my psp can you all help me? i really want this game! :(
One does not simply follw the piracy rules of /talk!

Some people here just says they buy the game for their psp but they really download it off the net.

hmmmm......

that .pkg is from the Media Go if you want to make it work you need to transfer it via Media Go (my guess is it will then decompress it to eboot) and once you open the PSX (PSN) the KEYS.BIN will be created (or maybe it will be included dunno i never check it out  )

and also if you're using your PSP to download games from PSN
once it finish the download it will then automatically install (so there's no way that would in .pkg)

Dear Sir,

it appears you have successfully downloaded a game from somewhere for free, but regrettably the uploader was a newbie who did not know how to do it properly. In this case, you will unfortunately have to take your query to another forum, because for various legal, and sometimes moral reasons, we do not provide support for pirated games here.

If I am however somehow mistaken, you can follow these two wise pieces of advice provided by Steven:
Steven wrote:that .pkg is from the Media Go if you want to make it work you need to transfer it via Media Go
Steven wrote:and also if you're using your PSP to download games from PSN
once it finish the download it will then automatically install (so there's no way that would in .pkg)

Also, I would like to point out that bumping your own threads is not encouraged at all by the forum rules, and is in fact considered spam by moderators.
And one last thing: reading your signature, I quite believe you are one those people who "just say they buy the game for their psp but they really download it off the net". We are not the police here, nor the authorities, but rules are still rules and as such need to be followed.

Yours truthful friendly neighborhood mod,
Xian
