On 6.60 the game has to import the exploitable system call.

Totally agree with you, and my mysterious friend agrees too

To an extent, you are correct. Yes, the PSP emu is based on the latest firmware, which makes sense too, but this doesn't mean it has to be exactly the same. It can easily have some exploits patched. Also, there is no debugger for the Vita, like we can use PSPLink on the PSP, so developing the exploit can be more difficult as well.xoombie503 wrote:What about the vita emulator? Like what firmware supposedely runs on? Latest psp firmware? Wouldnt it be the same as trying to crack latest psp firmware? Like if a game can get acces to kernel thru an exploit in the current psp firmware it should work on vita psp emulator right???

Sony is always to slow or lazy to get anything done besides stopping exploit, that is the only they do now a days, patched ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 due to alternate costume glitch yet they don't fix the glitches in the game such greedy company always forcing us to buy dlc and crap. Hopefully PS Vita will be hack for psp iso and such tried of Sony lazy ass excuses blaming piracy for poor sales numbers.

In any case great development!
