Mortal Kombat. Seriously, I really, really, really, hated fighting games, then I played MK on Vita. It's my new favorite, and I can't recommend it enough! Also, Monster Hunter. MH is a pretty good RPG.

Will any PSP game on the PS3 transfer over and work?

Didn't think they would all work on Vita.

I'm such an addict. I have like 11 games I bought and I'm not finished 9 of them. Ugh, damn my addiction to buying but not finishing games.

if your up for rpg
ild suggest Y's seven
but if you want to play them all i would recamend the other games in the series first but i played them all on pc before they were ported to the psp(seven was made for the psp and is only on the psp and vita psn)
the older games are very different but for a series older then final fantasy they are all great games
Y's 1 and 2 are ports of the win xp editions and oath in felgona is a port of the remake for win xp, similar to ark of nefishda
the pc editions are better only for the bigger full screen display that was cut top and bottom for the widescreen psp ports

ps: i own all the collector psp sets from xseeds
have fun, stay safe

I'd recommend what I have installed right now on mine:

- Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3: Its a jrpg favourite, lots of hours to spend on it, the PSP version is not that bad (though more visual novel oriented) and it even has a female main character option. Also, replayability is pretty nice, trying to discover social links and more gameplay-related stuff. English voice acting is not that bad, though I prefer the Japanese one.

- Monster Hunter Freedom Unite: Who doesn't like this one? Massively popular in Japan, and while its not the latest entry on the saga, its pretty cool to play with friends using the Ad-hoc on PSP or Vitas. Also, 500-or-so quests, that take about 1 hour each, that's a freaking lot of time to spend on it.

- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3: Flawless console port with Cross-playing between PS3's and Vita's. Tons of people playing online, fun and easy to play. Also, pretty nice graphics, the MT framework is pretty good when porting it at lower-spec consoles.

- Mortal Kombat: Another port that's better than the console version, ton-shit of content. Graphics are not as bad, and its using the Unreal Engine 3 for rendering stuff. Its pretty impresive when you think about it. Its looks a little worse than the console version in the characters models though. Also, fun as hell to play online.

- Motostorm RC: Free on the US! :D Who cares the rest? :P

Dungeon Hunter is the game I bought with my PSV and I love it, typical hack n slash gameplay, decent story line. have played it through a bunch of times now but still play it often. Online is good, especially in the challeng bit (forget what its called but you all are in a room and wave after wave of bad guys come in)
