Can i still download Super Collapse 3 from a friend's PS3?

Well, if the game is on your friend's PS3, wouldn't it be under his account?

The game was removed from the store, but if you have a downloaded copy AND the PSN account of that game logged in, it will work

No it wont work. Its removed completely even off your download list.

so to further clarify, for the extreamly slow/stupid.

I have a PS3 and Vita. Both are running under the same PSN account.

If when SC3 is released back into the stores - as long as i dont update the FW on my vita, i can buy and download the game onto my PS3, then unhook the PS3 from the internet and download SC3 to the Vita?

(That is, pending sony havent patched the actual game to include a hidden FW update? or patched the game to fix the exploit?)

If you dont update ps vita and SC3 is released back into store then yes you should be able to download to ps3 and then pass it over to ps vita, i forget if there were any issues with that but technically that should work, also the patching of the vHBL happens with the vita firmware which means if there is a new ps vita firmware update it will most likely be to patch the SC3 vhbl
