[Homebrew] 6.60 ME Time Machine BETA2! (RELEASED)

Developer: Neur0n

People who are still running M33 CFW by Dark Alex might find this useful.
You also need official Firmware 6.60 for this to work.
For TimeMachine to work you need a pandora battery inside your PSP.

aka Despertar del Cementerio v9 (RC)
==================================
Great work from Neur0n again
He updated his Time Machine Add On to Beta 2, it's now a full working DC.
It supports installing OFW 6.60, 6.60ME and TEST 6.60.

You can install it the same way as his previous Time machine release.

But check your timemachine config file because it will add the line with the button to press to it.
Probably you will already have it there if you installed TM beta.

Here's a video from TheZ94 to show it.

Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ML8SCMUa ... r_embedded

Howto (Fresh install):

Code: Select all

- Copy TIMEMACHINE_ADDON folder to PSP/GAME directory on memorystick.
- Copy official 6.60 to root of memorystick, rename it to 660.PBP.

- Run TIMEMACHINE_ADDON and choose option1: install iplloader on MS boot sector.
- Choose option2: install 660ME (01g + 02g model). Wait until all files are extracted.

- Shutdown PSP and power up again with the Square buttton pressed.
- Add/change this line in CONFIG.TXT file inside TM folder on memorystick: SQUARE = "/TM/660/ipl.bin";

6.60 ME will boot as fresh installed firmware so you have to configure Date and Time first, then it will run with default settings.
Howto (If you already have TimeMachine from Dark Alex installed):

Code: Select all

- Copy TIMEMACHINE_ADDON folder to PSP/GAME directory on memorystick.
- Copy official 6.60 to root of memorystick, rename it to 660.PBP.
- Add/change this line in CONFIG.TXT file inside TM folder on memorystick: SQUARE = "/TM/660/ipl.bin";

- Run TIMEMACHINE_ADDON and choose option install 660ME, wait until all files are extracted.
- Shutdown PSP and power up again with the Square buttton pressed.

6.60 ME will boot as fresh installed firmware so you have to configure Date and Time first, then it will run with default settings.

I don't really Know, Neur0n didn't specified any CFWs that work with this. But Im pretty sure 5.00 should work.

Correct me if Im wrong.

Shouldn't this be in Custom Firmware folder?

You dont need to have m33 cfw to use this. Any pandora psp with any cfw can use this. Im on 6.39 Pro and i use time machine to run 5.00m33 and 6.60ME

I just tested this on my old psp 1000 and it worked perfectly! ^_^

I thought it was going to be stuck at 5.00 m33-6 since I bricked it so many times in the past and kept reflashing the CFW with my pandora battery.

Thanks Neur0n for making it & Thanks for the post and tutorial, TheDarknessArrives! ;)

when i press square after a shutting down my psp, there's no 6.60 ME being installed. oh, i've already changed the CONFIG.txt in the TM folder. i've also put the 660.BPB in the root of my ms. my cfw is 5.00 m33-6.

can someone please help me in installing this awesome homebrew?
