Help transferring gpsp saves from PSP to PS Vita?

So I have been playing Pokemon on my psp 3000 for a while, but now that I have gpsp on my Vita I decided to transfer my savedata from the psp to the vita.

So I went through the whole process: I copied my pokemon rom. Then I took the old save file (Pokemon - Fire Red.sav) from my psp 3000 and placed it in mh gpspkai/GBA/SAVE

I then went into vHBL and installed the homebrew. It succeeded. I loaded up Pokemon Fire Red, but it did not give me an option to load my save data. It just started off as if it was a new game.

Can anyone help me?

I did the exact thing you did to the letter and it didn't work, but after re-zipping it it worked just fine. Hope this helps!

Uhh so I unzipped my homebrew and I rezipped it like you said. I then installed it again and still no save file :O

Ahhhh screw it. I deleted it. I will just wait until this whole homebrew business gets sorted out. Until then, my vita will continue to collect dust
