Thanks for the pics, but as I said before, going to the Memory Stick and selecting PRO Update only gives me an error.

Thanks for the link disturbed, PM'ing you now.

I have 6.20 PRO-B8. It was suggested previously that I update to 6.60 on this page:

http://wololo.net/wagic/installing-pro- ... 2000-slim/

However, here's where I get lost:

"To install the 6.60 Firmware, just unzip the archive on your PSP’s memory stick, in the “PSP” folder (you should end up with an “UPDATE” folder in the PSP folder, if you do things correctly), then run the update from your PSP menu."

I have no idea how to "run the update from your PSP menu", and apparently my inability to understand this step is preventing PRO Update from running correctly.

ok first is the 6.60 update named EBOOT.PBP and is in a folder named UPDATE
and do you have that folder in the GAME folder on the memory stick ?

if so the start it from the the XMB like I said to so with the PRO Update

if you dont have the update then get it from here

http://du01.psp.update.playstation.org/ ... /EBOOT.PBP

(thats SONY's link BTW)

He's going to stay on 6.20PRO-B10f1.

I'm currently helping him through PM.

Thanks for the help none the less though. 8-)

(I just figured that with him being on 6.20OFW already that it would be easier for him to just run the 6.20PRO-B10f1 update and not worry about an actual firmware update. [I still don't trust the 6.60OFW updater, Sony never did anything to it and I do recall quite a few people reporting bricks just from running the OFW update on full battery with the charger plugged in]. I'm also using 6.20PRO-B10f1 so I'll be able to set him up with basically everything on my PSP right now and I'll know it's all compatible for him since he's so new to PSP hacking)

Disturbed managed to help this poor soul (finally) get this patch to work. A big thanks to him for the assistance.
