You have to choose the right folder in your emulator.

I have to say it happened to me too. I see the roms file is empty but I actually copy many games in it. Does it because the name of .nes is not English or French?

Well, since wth fixed the .&.. dirs you should be able to put them anywahere within the Snes9xTYL homebrew install folder. You should put them in the ROM folder, but it shouldn't matter now that he added that hook. Cheers. I will test this as well when I get home from work this evening, and edit my post as necessary. (I know with the beta VHBL I put the roms in the ROM folder)
If you build it......we will hack!

I got my roms to show up by unzipping them to the smc/smd files and placing these into the rom folder before making a new install.zip package making sure to use store as the compression type.

When I added roms to the existing install.zip without extracting, the compression would be altered from store and these roms wouldn't copy across when installing, it seems that as long as you create your zip with store compression(as stated in the instructions for using VHBL) you should be ok.

*You will probably be better making a fresh install.zip when you add roms rather than adding to your existing zip file to avoid the issue I had*

That is the only way I get my rom's to show up. they use to to show up on Daedalusx64 Beta 3 when they were compressed. Now I have to uncompress them in newer version.

Shezame I recommend you get a clean rom(a rom that has not been messed with) and also the newest version of SNES9xTYL ( link here http://wololo.net/downloads/index.php/download/670 or use the homebrew store on your psp)

i had the same problem, its that most snes roms on those emu/rom sites are in the 7z format so i renamed .7z to .zip with the hombrew program filer and they showed straight up
but failed to load
so did a bit of searching and found a pack of snes roms meant for the ps3 in .zip format and they work perfectly

so check if your roms are .zip or .7z as that is more than likely your problem
hope it helps ;)
