How to update psp iso rips? (Im not a Pirate)

How can i update my psp isos and csos, these are all rips of my psp games. Little big planet needs to update but i dont know how to update it

i see from your sig that you're on 6.20 PRO, so you have to use ISO Tool:
-open ISO Tool
-in the menu select the ISO game you want to update (don't work with CSOs), and select "Make GetUpdater" from menu
-go back in the XMB, you'll find the updater file; press triangle over it and select "Update"

Thanks but im using a cso so i wnat to know how to do it with a cso

you can't with ISO Tool, you should convert your game to ISO, update it and then delete the ISO.

or you can update to 6.39/6.60 LME, it has a direct option in the XMB menu to update a game, in both ISO or CSO format.

put the cso in a folder called VIDEO in the ISO folder. then open up the vsh menu and go to ISO Video Mount. The CSO will mount like a normal UMD.

I converted it and updated it but it still doesnt work! Sigh.... Ill have to update to 6.60

i'm not sure about it, but i think you should use the version.txt of 6.60 with the option in recovery

If updating the CSO/ISO is giving you such a hard time why don't you just use your original version (is it UMD or DD?) instead? It's guaranteed to work then.

you're right i was forgetting the simplest and obvious way

just insert your UMD/EBOOT, press triangle and choose "Update"

but then the update isn't registered with the iso/cso. you'd need to have 6.39 to be able to execute the actual update PBOOT.pbp.
