and still sony are able to get psp games emulated on ps vita
I doubt that the psp emulation within the vita is completely realisized by software. So this argument is not valid.

No. They can't. This isn't some ploy to keep making more money. It really just isn't possible.but maybe after 3-4 years sony can add an emulator to vita.
Not very well in many cases. It works ok in the ps3 most of the time, but the ps3 is also wayyyyyyyy more powerful than the vita. And sony disabled the software emulator in the ps3 because it does not run all games acceptably. Sony is running a professional business here. They will not release a piece of crap emulator, no matter how much people want it. It doesn't really matter how much people want to be able to use it, even if they understand full well it won't run all games at full speed or without major bugs. Not everyone will be aware of that, and when they boot up their ps2 games on their ps3, and find out it's not even playable, they're going to be pissed at sony. The only way for sony to avoid looking like incompetent retards was to disable the software ps2 emulator in the ps3. It's unfortunate, but since the ps3 is not strong enough to run the emulator well, they really had no choice.although i don't know how well that works

That's actually older PS3s, as it only works on models that had an emotion chip, or software emulation capabilities built in. As such, only CECHA, CECHB, CECHC and CECHE can use this dongle for PS2 ISOs.Monk9899 wrote:yeah, but the newer ps3s are able to emulate ps2 as well as psp games via cobra usb

Sorry, but this sentence makes no sense...
