psp games that never made the psn

Games that come to my mind first are the square enix games like Crisis Core and Kingdom Hearts. These two games have never made the psn due to liscensing issues and i dont see them magically resolving just because the ps vifa is out.

Do you guys think that these games and others that had similar issues will make their way to the psn now that sony has launched the vita? Or will they be doomed to the umd for eternity?

They'll be on the PSN eventually... From what I see is if you go to HK and JP PSNs they have a ton of games that the US PSN doesn't have.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but don't ever count on KH BBS being on the PSN, Disney doesn't like sharing anything they make... As for FFVII CC, I doubt that will ever be on the PSN either, the game has been out for years now, if it were going to be released for DD then it would have happened already.

Guess you're either going to have to play them on your PSP or if you don't have a PSP now would be a good time to pick up a cheap 3000/Go. (I'd recommend a 3000 if your hands are any bigger than a 12 year old girl though. I held one recently and I felt like a giant I'm not that big either, 5'9" )

The UMD library was not released for the PSPgo. I see no reason why there PSVita would get such special treatment.
Sony directly misled users about the PSPgo getting them, and as Sony has misled users again with the PSVita getting UMD-transfers, its safe to say they will not be on PSN.
(Recoded PSP games as PSVita games are another matter.)

I saw a commercial for the PSPgo playing KHBBS, so I was like I need to play that and bought a go. Then on release it wasn't on the PSN, so I looked at the forum. It said to wait a week or two, then months later still nothing, however all of this led me to the PSP scene, and I'm glad it did <3
Its sad it will never be on PSN, but I definitely wouldn't mind a recoded PSVita version.

The two main series games are PS2 exclusive. There was GBA spin off (that was remade for PS2 and released only in Japan), an original DS spin off, a mobile phone spin off (cell phone to you Americans reading ) which was later ported to DS and a PSP spin off. From my understanding, the 3DS game will be the third in the main series.

EDIT: Despite the portable games being spin offs, the GBA game (which was set between 1st and 2nd main games) had a large influence on plot of 2nd. The others have all been since the last main game, so their importance in the overall story is unclear.

I never understood why they made a series and then broke it up between different consoles, who does that? I'm not really expecting it to ever be a reality, more so just wishful thinking . Although, even if it was years from now on some other system I'd still be pretty happy.
