MotorStorm is a really fun game, I haven't played any of the Midnight club games but a friend of mine has one (I think it's Remix) and I might have to borrow it from him now that you speak so highly of it.

The PSP in general is highly addictive for me. I play at least one hour a day for the last three years (I bought my first PSP February 19th 2009 ) and racing games are about tied for my favorite genre (RPG's take a slight edge because there are so many great ones, FF being my favorite out of all).

I did finally catch my friend yesterday and I borrowed the game, it's L.A. Remix. I'll probably try it tonight once all the kids are asleep. If it's so much better than the NFS games for the PSP (as you and quite a few others keep saying  ) then I'm sure I'll be playing it until my battery dies (so about 3 hours  )

NFS (at least the PSP version) sucks hardly compared to Midnight Club L.A. You've got the Remix version since it's the only one available for the PSP, as the normal version is only available for Xbox 360 and PS3. Keep your PSP's recharger close because you won't stop playing it even if your battery dies!

I played Midnight Club : L.A. Remix for a few minutes this afternoon (granted I only played for about 15 minutes total) and, maybe it's just me but (maybe I really am an NFS fanboy  ) but it really felt weird to me playing this game. It's hard to describe but it just didn't "feel" right. I can pop in any NFS game (for basically any system) and feel right at home with little to no time adjusting to it. this game feels some what "stiff" to me. I will give it a bit more time to see if it grows on me because of the large amount of praise that it's getting from most people around here though. I really hope it doesn't bore me to sleep like GT PSP does though... I'm still mad that I wasted $30 (or so $40, I can't remember what it cost on release) on that game when it first came out. :x

LA Remix is the best game... :D Maybe you should free your mind from NFS and then play the game... :) Its just that you like NFS so much that you cant put your mind into LA remix... :) Try playing it for a while, You will eventually like it... :D Trust me.. :)

At the beginning it's boring because of the slow cars. If you really wanna feel the stuff, pop in a 100% save and get a fast car/bike. It's very fast paced and it require some reflex to avoid the traffic (mostly on highways). It's very cool.

I'll get there eventually, I never like using other people's save games especially for racing games. I like the satisfaction of getting all the cars and completing all the races myself. 8-)

I just really haven't had any free time lately, the kids have been sick and what little time I do get away from them I spend moderating here or sleeping.

I'm always looking for the next realistic simulator (GT, Forza, Etc.) if you want something faster paced, id go with Split Second.
