The disc used must match the basic disc type of the game, of course.
So for a game on CD you must use a CD-R, and for a game on DVD you must use a DVD-R.

Apparently, according to him I need DVD-R

Alright, do try it with a DVD-R. That is probably the cause of it, dlanor IS very trustworthy. I believe that I did use a DVD-R, BUT my recent backups that I have made are DVD+R and they work stupendously without a problem.

Turns out my dad never got around to getting my DVD's today I can't go drive to get them, I'm only 14
