6.xx HEN/cfw Emulation Discussion

Post by TragicTheBlubbering »

This topic is for discussing Emulation on 6.xx HEN/cfw. Share your experiences, ask for emulator related help on TN HEN, Discuss which emulators work and which(if any)don't, and discuss just about anything else related to emulation on 6.xx HEN/cfw. Just remember this one thing:
Absolutely positively no talk about piracy!  Any such posts will be deleted and the author warned.

The emulators I've run so far are Snes9x Euphoria R4, Snes9xtyl mecm091124, gpSP kai, and gpSP-J, all with success. The two snes emulators are very close in performance, but Euphoria seems a tad bit buggier, in gameplay the graphics were shaky regardless of the settings used. Mecm091124 is more stable, the roms ran smoothly, no fluttering whatsoever. :) The GBA emulators were also a close match. I will probably stick with gpSP kai 3.4 only because it has full screen. :)

I've had no problems at all when it comes to emulation on the HEN. The main thing I'm happy about is being able to finally switch back to Homer's RIN as my Game Boy emulator :D.

What revision of DaedalusX64 do people here consider the most stable?
Offtopic, but I just noticed "m0skit0" is actually "mosquito"
all this time I've been pronouncing his name is "em-oh-skit-zero"

Yeah, HEN seems like to run most emulators just great.
All the ones mentioned below, worked perfectly fine for me.

fMSX v3.5.41
gpSP-J v100429 <<< Guide on how to change language to English instead of Japanese
Homers RIN v3.2
NesterJ v1.13 beta 2
PicoDrive v1.51
PSP TI 99 v1.0.3
PSPAtari v1.1.3
PSPKVM v0.5.5 Test 4
SMS Plus v1.3.1

(Click for download)

And yes, indeed, the HEN really 'rox'.
