Personally it did show 9.0 firmware so i believe it. Funny thing is it looks like 2 min delay to switch roms even MT -Card does not take that long =D

If we're gonna have to buy more than one card, I hope they don't OD it on the price and make us pay $90-110. I have feeling they would give us that price tho

Huh? Where did you read it can only hold 10 roms flashed to it once?
Ah just read it.
They mean you need more flashcards if you want to play more then 10 games simultaneously.
Honestly I would just buy/use another micro sd with a different set of games stored on it.

In the video from king3ds there is clearly a micro sd card visible, that one holds the roms.
I think they mean it can currently only cycle through 10 roms on the micro sd.

The flashcard seems to have a micro switch which you need to press to cycle through the content of the micro sd card, not a too bad solution if they can tweak the rom detection/loading a bit more.

If that's true, it is max 10 games and they are replaceable.

quoted from http://www.dsflashcart.com/sky3ds-3ds-f ... p-290.html

Note: Today the sky3ds have released the official faq, some customers emailed us and asked the meaning of "one card per 10 games", we have contacted the factory and confirmed that it is a misunderstanding, they confirmed sky3ds can support all 3ds games but you can only put up to 10 3ds roms in the micro sd card, if you want to play more 3ds games, you can just use another micro sd card or replace the old ones. And another, the pics of the sky3ds package will be released soon.

Giggle, yes this is just how I understood it.

Everything else would be a huge waste of materials and money and ultimately a bummer if another clone card removes/circumvents that limitation XD.

But what bugs me much much more then 10 games per micro sd card is:
Q: Does the sky3ds have emunand? Also will there be a region unlock? So I can play games on my EU 3DS from Japan or US?
A: No, don't need any emunand at all, it can support any 3DS system version even the newest V9.1.0-20J version. Because it's region locking like a real gamepad, you can't play US or JP's games on your EU 3DS console.
Not the emunand stuff but the REGION LOCK... again.
I got my gateway just to remove the region lock... so a shot in the foot again.

Where is a good place to get a gateway in the UK? Failing that in the EU? Is there anywhere to stay clear of for clones?
