Emunand 3ds xl using dstwo cart help

Got 3ds xl on 4.5 have ordered gateway cart will be delivered in 2 weeks.
Have got a dsi xl with which I use a dstwo cart.
Can I use the dstwo to update emunand or should I wait for the gateway
Are there any tutorials for this.
What other things I need to read which will be important for gateway cart.

You can use dstwo instead of gateway blue 3ds to boot up gateway 3ds exploit,maybe as you knew, gateway blue 3ds function just like a normal nds card,but if you want play 3ds games,then you still need gateway red 3ds,so it seems that wait for your gateway 3ds arrival is the best choice.

got the gateway 3ds today ,
went to upgrade it to omega 2.2 ,but there is another 2.3b there ,
!should i update straight to omega 2.3b or have to update first to 2.2
